Rapper T.I. or Tip, born Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., is a popular recording artist, film producer, music producer, author, and actor. He founded and co-leads Grand Hustle Records. He was recently released from an Atlanta, Georgia halfway house in the wee hours of the morning. But T.I. did not go home to an empty house or any lack of fanfare.
T.I.’s family knows how to throwdown with Southern food favorites
Well before T.I. was officially released, his family started planning and executing his welcome home party, complete with a throwdown of Southern food favorites. Celebrity tabloid TMZ reported that T.I. celebrated his freedom with this potluck southern feast and mountains of family recipe favorites. Between the rapper’s aunt and wife, the celebration dinner quickly took shape.
TMZ reported that the mouth-watering dishes in this welcome home feast included the American comfort food classic mac ‘n cheese; the staple fried chicken; BBQ chicken; fish; spare ribs; collards; and salad. The mac ‘n cheese was even a special family recipe. Of course, there has to be dessert with all southern meals and T.I.’s feast is no different. The rapper’s favorite is none other than the Steel Magnolias’ favorite, red velvet cake.
T.I.’s welcome home feast was potluck style, complete with fam and friends
T.I.’s party was so big, it had to be potluck style, with help for his aunt and wife. The rapper’s close friends and family added even more dishes to the already massive spread. The feast and party undertaking is pretty impressive, considering T.I. just celebrated about one month ago with a similar family throwdown on his way into the halfway house. Granted, that was before the rapper was thrown back into the slammer. Read more about this and other celebrity legal cases at celeblegalissues.com
