Real Housewives Having Some Real Legal Trouble

[picappgallerysingle id="8693971"]When it comes to celebrity legal issues it seems like the “Real Housewives” whether they are in Orange County, New York or New Jersey have more than their fair share.

Last week it was announced that NJ Housewife Teresa Giudice filed with her husband Joe for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. The couple owes creditors over 10 million dollars and are delinquent on mortgage payments on three of their homes.  This is not the only legal trouble the Guidice’s have seen this year. In January it was not a bankruptcy attorney, but a NJ DWI lawyer whose services were required when Joe was driving and struck a pole in Montville Township NJ. He was brought to the hospital by police and charged with drunk driving. It then became apparent that Clifton NJ also had a warrant out for his arrest due to outstanding city ordinance violations.

New York housewife Sonja Morgan can give the Guidice family a run for their (now non-existent) money when it comes to legal woes. Morgan was arrested after partying in the East Village over Memorial Day Weekend. She failed to stop at a stop sign in Southampton Village. She refused a breathalyzer test and was taken in by police and charged with drunk driving. In 2008 she not only had her divorce finalized but was also sued by Hannibal pictures for backing out of a film the company claimed she had promised to finance.

On the other coast, Orange County housewife, Jeana Keough narrowly escaped foreclosure on her home in the Coto de Caza community in March while cast member Tamra Barney was accused of infidelity by her husband Simon when he filed for divorce in January of this year according to the New York  Daily News.

Divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, DWI and the list continues.  Even  in this economy lawyers need not fear, it seems that the casts of “Real Housewives” alone can provide enough cases to keep everybody in business.
