44199, WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - Tuesday August 31 2010. Samantha Ronson heads for home in the wee small hours after DJing on the day her dog allegedly killed another pooch. As she left her gig at around 2am on Tuesday morning, Sam was approached by Lindsay Lohan and her friend Eliat Anschel (not photographed). Lohan was shouting at her on/off girlfriend, giving the photographer the impression they were arguing again. Before she drove away, the DJ flipped off the photographers, then drove off with Eliat and Lindsay in pursuit. Eliat was diriving. Photograph: David Tonnessen, PacificCoastNews.com

Celebrity DJ, Samantha Ronson, could be facing a criminal charge over the dog attack that happened two weeks ago.  According to sources, the dog mauling left Samantha “incredibly sad”.  Investigators are looking into what happened with her bulldog Cadillac, as well as animal control officials.  Ronson’s dog fatally attacked another dog living in the same apartment building.

The Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control had told E! Hollywood News, “the attack is substantial.”  Similar attacks have gone all the way up to a felony charge.  At this point, it seems it is up to whether the court will have to decide on three things, whether the person should lose the right to own the dog, have the pup euthanized, or if there should be any other restrictions against the dog.

Investigators are looking into whether there was a previous attack.  Most often, in Los Angeles, the dogs become euthanized.  Maybe it is time for Samantha Ronson to invest in a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney to defend her and see to it that her pup has a fighting chance.

Robert O’Ryan, Shawn Johnson’s alleged stalker, told an LA court that he is insane.

Robert O’Ryan is facing charges for felony stalking in relation to Olympian Shawn Johnson. In addition to this, he is facing two misdemeanor charges for having a loaded gun in his car, and felony commercial burglary charges.

Last year Robert was arrested when he tried to enter the set of “Dancing with the Stars.” Reports from TMZ indicated that O’Ryan was trying to have an encounter with an Olympian.

At a recent court hearing, a judge told O’Ryan that he could expect to spend the same amount of time in a state mental hospital as he would a prison if he is found guilty. If convicted, O’Ryan faces six years behind bars.

His trial is already underway, and Shawn Johnson will most likely testify against him.

Be sure to check back often for more information on this case, other cases that deal with celebrity paparazzi and celebrity felonies.

Jude Law snaps a couple of photos of the paparazzi on his Leica camera before attending the Jameson Empire Film Awards
Jude Law is one of the highly claimed actors who recently played in the movie Sherlock Holmes.  He is not only handsome and protective in this movie; he is also protective of his kids in everyday life.  U.K.’s Hello! magazine decided they wanted to put pictures of Law and his children on their Caribbean vacation in early January of this year.  Hello! magazine not only had to endure a lawsuit, they ended up losing with a grand total of $15,000 in damages!  Not only did they have to shell out all this additional money, the magazine was forced to agree to have more terms with the settlement.  They had to agree to not publish anymore photographs of Jude Law or his family until they turn the legal adult age of eighteen years old, and have “a reasonable expectation of privacy”.  Included in this are beaches, schools, parks, and sporting events worldwide.  Although the problem with this, is this will only stop this famous magazine from publishing and printing pictures, not from them being taken at all.  Perhaps if Law is ever in the States, he should hire a Phoenix business lawyer fit like his previous attorney to help him with the same issues overseas.

Owen Wilson

Owen Wilson via last.fm

Back in December of 2008, Owen Wilson, alongside his brother Andrew, allegedly assaulted a member of the paparazzi in Santa Monica.

According to the lawsuit filed last Friday, paparazzo Clint Brewer claims he was “walking up the stairs and was pushed in the back” by Wilson as he was walking on December 5. He also claims he was beaten up by both of the brothers and said he experienced a number of bodily injuries and claims some injuries are now permanent.

The lawsuit states that he had o shell out approximately $3,251.10 in medical expenses and is seeking $500,000 in general damages. That’s a ton of money for apparently being shoved walking up a flight of stairs!

Note to celebs: As much as the paparazzi annoys you to the point of you wanting to initiate violence, think twice. You never know what cameraman will take you to court (even two years later!)

Charles Pearson, the man who allegedly stalked Dr. Drew Pinksy, was charged with a total of six felonies – one count of stalking and five other counts of making criminal threats. Pearson plead “not guilty” to all six charges.

Pearson was arrested on Wednesday after he sent Dr. Drew threatening messages on the web, including one that said he would kill Dr. Drew’s children and make the doctor’s wife “eat them.”

Police took Pearson into custody and was being held on $150,000 bail.

During his arraignment – which took place this afternoon – prosecutors set his bail up to $400,000 and a restraining order was issued which states that Pearson must stay at least 500 yards away from Dr. Drew and his family.

Pearson is due back in court on March 18.
