Michael Douglas’s son of 31 years old, Cameron will be facing 5 years in jail for pleading guilty to drug charges for dealing crystal meth. Normally, the minimum sentence for dealing is 10 years. Once released, he is ordered to spend another 5 years under supervision. On top of the 5 year sentence Cameron is responsible for paying a $25,000 and 450 hours of community service.
Prior to Judge Richard Berman reaching his Cameron’s settlement, Michael Douglas sent a hand written letter hoping that the judge will be lenient on his son. Either this letter had somewhat of an influence on his case… or Cameron just had a superb criminal attorney! Hopefully, he gets some type of reform to help him past his abuse issues.
