Lindsay Lohan was in another auto accidentLindsay Lohan is tangling with the law again. Lohan was allegedly in an accident involving a pedestrian and her car last week that, if true, could impact the outcome of her final hearing with Judge Stephanie Sauter this upcoming Thursday. While driving away from the Sayers Club in Hollywood, she was said to have hit the 26-year-old manager of the nearby Hookah Lounge with her Porsche. At the time of the accident, sources at the scene said that there were no injuries, and the LAPD quickly determined the case to be closed. However, by the following day, conflicting information had surfaced.

When the police were called to the scene of the supposed accident, Lohan was seen sitting in the passenger side of her car with her former passenger now in the driver’s seat. However, photographs taken shortly after the incident tell a different story—in them, Lohan is behind the wheel. This casts some doubt on her motives, as it looks as though she was trying to fool people into thinking she was not driving at the time of the accident.

Despite earlier reports of no injuries, it then became news that the manager Lohan’s car hit did go to the emergency room. He also hired lawyer Mark Geragos to help him sue Lohan. Meanwhile, there have been several reports from eyewitnesses who said the manager was either barely grazed or not hit at all. A source from the LAPD said that the man was told who was driving the car when he was hit and claimed that he did not know her as he was not from this country. He apparently began complaining of injuries after the cops left the scene.

Though the motives of the alleged victim are questionable, his failure to immediately register that he was injured is not unusual. It often takes several days for injuries sustained in car accidents to surface, as a personal injury lawyer in Orange County would tell his or her clients. Documenting injuries if you are involved in a car accident is a key step in the days following an accident—you need to be able to clearly link your injuries with your car crash if you are to receive financial compensation.

This is clearly a case of he said, she said, and both parties have declined meeting with the police to get to the bottom of what happened. At this point, only time can tell how the accident will impact Lohan’s probation.
