It’s not quite yet the weekend, but some celebrities are already partying like rock stars! In this case, Grammy award-winning rapper Krayzie Bone was pinched for drunk driving around 12:30 AM today in Los Angeles.
TMZ reports that police officers pulled Bone over in during a traffic stop, but asked him to perform field sobriety tests after noticing he appeared intoxicated. Their sources say the breathalyzer test results indicated his BAC (blood alcohol concentration) was more than .10 percent. This spelled trouble for Bone since, according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles website, “It is unlawful for any person who has .08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in his or her blood to drive a vehicle.”
Bone is just one of many celebrities in recent weeks to need the services of DUI lawyers. July highlights for celebrity DUIs include NFL star Kenny Britt getting picked up for a DUI last week at Fort Campbell, New York Knicks baller Jason Kidd crashing his car and getting arrested for DWI the weekend before that, and drummer Nick Brown getting taken into police custody after drunkenly stealing a golf cart and taking it for a joyride following a concert!
Bone is known for his work as a solo artist as well as his on-again, off-again membership in Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Bone left Bone Thugs-n-Harmony in 2011 but decided to rejoin for touring purposes in 2012 after the group anncouned they were planning to record a new album.
