This week in Hollywood…

NFL legend Junior Seau shot himself in the chest Wednesday morning in his Oceanside, CA home. His girlfriend found his bloody body upon returning from the gym and called 911 immediately. Junior wasn’t breathing when she arrived and she told the dispatcher it looked like he shot himself ‘in the heart.’

Life-saving efforits from authorties were unsuccessful as the 43 year old former NFL star was pronounced dead on the scene.

In a bizarre twist, TMZ has reported that Junior’s method of suicide, gunshot to the chest, has caused many to believe he wanted to leave his brain intact so doctors could research the long-term effects of concussions sustained in the NFL. The family has agreed to donate his brain to science.

Kimberly Buffington-Quaid filed for divorce from her actor husband, Dennis, two months ago citing irreconcilable differences. She was asking for spousal support and his lawyer didn’t want to give her anything. New documents have surfaced, however, that show Kim has withdrawn her divorce papers and has stopped persuing it. The judge agreed to dismiss.

In other celebrity divorce news, Halle Berry’s ex is asking the judge in their custody war for a $500,000 in attorney’s fees and $20,000 a month in child support. Gabriel believes he’s entitled to this money because he needs a proper environment to care for their 4-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, Berry wants to move with the child to Paris.

And finally, prosecutors in the Lindsay Lohan hit-and-run case say the accuser is a “non-credible witness” who changed his story and refused to cooperate with law officials. Meanwhile cops say the surveillance video of the so called accident shows no sign of collision. So it appears Lindsay’s innocent for once.
