Prior to marrying Larry King, Shawn Southwick was an actress.  She played in mainly sitcoms.  Her acting credits include appearances on Knight Rider, Benson, Who’s the Boss and Remmington Steele.  She has three sons, two from Larry King. Shawn went into rehab in June of 2008 for an addiction to painkillers.  She claims that she took the pills seeking relief from frequent migraines.

Larry King has expressed that their lives are changing and that it will be for the better as long as they remain a family through it all.  His eight marriages to seven different women due not however, hold true to this statement.  With this past, how can we predict a bright marital future?

Allegations had been surfacing that Larry had committed adultery and in the worst societal way.  It was stated off the record that he had cheated on his wife Shawn with her younger sister, which was denied by the sister herself.  She stated that Larry King has served as a father figure to her, and with the age difference that is probably the only thing that has made sense since these allegations surfaced.

The Los Angeles Times indicates that Gibson’s representative Alan Nierob has not confirmed the report’s accuracy due to legal matters.

Mr. Gibson would face criminal defense charges, jail time and civil penalties, and could lose visitation rights to his daughter.  If the court decides Mr. Gibson is a danger to them, this could very well happen, but they are only investigating – Not arresting or charging. Right now, Mr. Gibson is a very famous actor and producer, but negative press like this, even if untrue, continues to hurt his box office popularity.

This summer, Halle begins filming a movie in Africa which will keep her there permanently for three months, and she wants to take Nahla with her. However, he will appear in a Massachusetts court next month on June 24 in reference to another ex according to the Norfolk register of Probate. Brown has filed a bid to prove to the court that he can no longer afford the $5,500 a month he pays to Kim Ward the mother to two of Brown’s children because he has had a “material change in circumstances.” Brown has been delinquent in the past with his child support payments to Ward. In 2006, the MA court threatened to arrest Brown if he were to enter the state Massachusetts because he owed Ward $11,000 in child support. Brown ended up spending three nights in the Norfolk County jail and had to pay the court $19,150.

It was reported that Charlie and Denise came up with and signed a written agreement that grants Denise full custody of their 6-year-old and 4-year-old daughters.

Before this, the two celebs had joint custody of the kids and Charlie was reportedly paying Denise $50,000 monthly for child support since their 2005 divorce.

Given Charlie’s current marital situation, criminal issues and problems staying sober, however, Denise wanted sole custody and Charlie apparently had no problem with that.

It’s reassuring to know some celebs – sober or not – can actually make reasonable decisions sometimes, especially when it comes to their children. Hopefully this will make Sheen clean up his act, especially if/when Brooke Mueller packs her bags and takes his other two children away!

After four children and almost five years of marriage, the legendary Shaquille O’Neal filed for divorce from his wife Shaunie back in September.

O’Neal also said in his petition that Shaunie had been “secretive about her assets … particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either [her] name alone or in other entities.” He requested that the court require his soon-to-be ex-wife to give a “correct accounting of all money, funds, stocks, bonds, and other securities (including bearer securities)” obtained during the marriage.

As part of the divorce, O’Neal, who makes approximately $1.8 million a month (yes, a month!), released his private financial records to the Palm Beach Post in January. He makes a ton of money, yes, but also spent a lot of it on expenses. The breakdown is as follows:

$156,116 on mortgages (for three properties)

$110,505 on trips and vacations

$31,299 on homeowners insurance

$26,500 on childcare

$24,300 on gas

$17,220 on clothing

$14,905 on electricity, phone bills and cable

$12,775 on food

…and the list continues.

This week, the two have finally reached a divorce settlement outlining all terms of the divorce including child custody and property division. Under their agreement, Florida courts will now have jurisdiction to officially divorce the couple and a judge will handle any issues that come about involving their spousal support and property division.

California courts, however, will have jurisdiction to handle any issues involving custody of their children.

All in all, Shaunie’s a very lucky lady and will most likely be walking away with about half of O’Neal’s overall worth.

In a 20-minute hearing yesterday, a judge ordered Levi Johnston to pay child support and some back payments for the care of Tripp, the 1-year-old son of him and Bristol Palin.

Back in November, Bristol, the daughter of former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, filed a petition in accordance with Alaska law seeking sole custody of Tripp with visitation rights for

Johnston. The 19-year-old (then 17 years old) also requested $1, 7000 of child support a month from Johnston.

The judge eventually ruled that Johnston must pay $1, 688.42 a month in support, extending back to when the child was born in December 2008.

Bristol’s lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, told TMZ, “Bristol is pleased with the court rulings today and looks forward to resolving the remaining issues with Levi.”

Everyone’s sick of hearing about these two already. Johnston needs to take responsibility and pay his support and Bristol needs to move on. Enough is enough!

In December, Courtney Love lost temporary guardianship of her 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean, whose father is the late Kurt Cobain. Control of Frances was granted to Cobain’s mother Wendy O’Connor and his sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain.

The judge who granted this custody also issued a restraining order against Love.

For years Cobain’s family members have stated Love has been an unfit parent to Frances and their effort to take custody of her daughter hasn’t ceased for a number of years.

Yesterday an LA judge extended the existing order restricting Love’s contact with her daughter until April 9.

Once Frances turns 18 in August, however,  it will be up to her to decide the kind of relationship she wants to have with her crazy mother.
