This was not exactly the comeback Faith Evans was looking for. The Grammy Award-winning singer was arrested August 21, 2010 at a Los Angeles checkpoint for suspicion of DUI. Evans was cuffed and her car was impounded. She was held in police custody for a few hours before being released on bail.
After a 5-year hiatus from the music industry, Faith Evans had been working to get back in. She is releasing a new album, “Something About Faith” in October and filming a reality series titled “All About Faith.” The show follows her life and return to the music scene. This should make for some interesting footage, huh?
There is no current information on Evans’ blood alcohol content or court proceedings.
As all celebrities feel they must do, Evans hit up Twitter to thank all of her fans for their support and said she is “fine and well.”
