Eva Longoria and Tony Parker Finalize Divorce

Another celebrity couple’s wedding bites the dust. This time it is “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria and her French NBA star husband Tony Parker who have officially announced an end to their three-year marriage, a spokesperson said.

The actress, 35, had earlier filed for divorce with Parker in November after she found many text messages between her husband and Erin Barry, his teammate’s wife. Longoria has also informed her close friend Mario Lopez that the NBA star has been unfaithful on other instances, also.

The actress married the French star in a lavish ceremony back in 2007. She applied for divorce, citing” irreconcilable differences” between the two. The couple signed a pre-nuptial agreement a month before their wedding, updated two years later, according to People magazine.

Many had thought that Longoria removed her wedding date tattoo off her wrist, but the actress got on Twitter to deny reports of her removing any of the Tony Tattoos.  In addition to the tattoo on her wrist, she has a tattoo of Parker’s Jersey number on the back of her neck and his initials in a secret spot she is reluctant to name.

Longoria tweeted, “Just so everyone knows, I still have all my tattoos! Nothing is being removed, although I am always up for more tattoos!”

She says she is taking everything in stride.  “The most important thing is to stay strong mentally, even if these are very difficult times,” she told Le Parisien.
