Ethan Embry and Wife to Divorce

Another celebrity marriage bites the dust — Ethan Embry and model/actress Sunny Mabrey are getting divorced.

TMZ sounded the alert yesterday evening that Mabrey filed a divorce petition in L.A. County Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences. The two were married on July 17th, 2005, so her petition comes right on the heels of their seventh wedding anniversary.

There is no word yet regarding other details in the divorce petition or whether Embry has filed a response, but child support and child custody can be ruled out as issues up for discussion since the couple does not have any children together. That said, a divorce lawyer in Michigan — or any other location, for that matter — would most likely hold off on saying whether this split will be straightforward until more details are known.

This is Embry’s second divorce and Mabrey’s first. Embry is best known for his film roles in Can’t Hardly Wait, Vegas Vacation, That Thing You Do! and Empire Records. Though less widely known than her soon-to-be ex, Mabrey has appeared in Snakes on a Plane, One Last Thing… and numerous television shows.
