Elizabeth Hurley Files for Divorce

Another celebrity split is in the news — this time it’s actress Elizabeth Hurley filing for divorce from her husband Arun Nayar. The four-year-old marriage officially ended as the actress filed for divorce this April at London’s High Court.

Hurley, 45, best known as the face of Estee Lauder and star of “Austin Powers” and “Bedazzled,” stated “unreasonable behavior” as the reason for the split.

The actress announced on Twitter four months ago that she and her husband were separated, following rumors that the actress was being unfaithful. These rumors were confirmed when pictures were released of the actress kissing retired Australian cricket player Shane Warne.

The actress went on record to say, “Not a great day.” Hurley added, “For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this.”

Hurley and Arun Nayar, Indian textile heir, were married back in 2007 after having a relationship for four years.
