Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada Finalize Divorce

Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada officially finalized their divorce yesterday in a Florida court. This comes just over a month after Lozada filed her petition, and only a week after Johnson finally agreed to proceed with the split. The exact details of the split are not yet known but details may come to light given Johnson’s upcoming criminal case for domestic violence.

Johnson appeared on Inside the NFL last night to discuss the tumultuous events that have unfolded in recent weeks. While speaking to the host, he revealed that he is taking anger management classes to better himself and hopes to improve his life from here. It appears as though he is taking the repercussions of his actions (namely, his divorce and his firing from the Miami Dolphins) very seriously.

Johnson is reportedly determined to make amends and fix their relationship, and said “…and being married, being a husband, being a lover, it was an honor.”

Lozada may not ever take Johnson back, but best of luck to him with his classes and getting his career back on track.
