After 40 years of marriage, the political power-couple of Al and Tipper Gore are preparing to separate. The Gores said in an email circulated among friends that the separation was a mutual agreement between the two after long and careful consideration. The reason for the split, according to a Gore spokesman, is because of the different and aloof lives that Al and Tipper have created for themselves after years of separation because of their constant travel and busy careers.
