A heckler is one thing, but Mike Epps recently experienced something from an audience member that sent him over the top — and then some. TMZ reports that the funnyman and star of movies like “The Hangover” and “Jumping the Broom” was actually served with a lawsuit during a stand-up performance.

Information and data within this post gathered in association with a San Antonio personal injury lawyer.

The incident took place at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas, where Epps was right in the middle of delivering a comedy routine. Jokes were rolling, and the set was moving on as usual, when a female process server came up to the stage and served Epps with a lawsuit.

His response? A flurry of curses and invectives that aren’t for your grandma. A stunned Epps looked down at the documents and told the audience, “White b*tch just threw some papers up on the mother f*cking stage … b*tch, f*ck you.”

Epps continued to berate the process server as she made her way to the theater’s exit. “B*tch, I don’t give a f*ck … suck my d*ck,” the comedian continued.

The charges are the result of an altercation Epps had with a photographer at the Key Club, a Detroit nightclub, in December of last year. The shutterbug claims that Epps delivered a “brutal beating,” and that his entourage also fired gunshots at him outside the Key Club.

He may have been served, but the stand-up comedian clearly didn’t take it sitting down.
